FAT partition standard SD card storage. partition files be ext2, ext3, ext4, f2fs.
a non-FAT file system (ext2, ext3, ext4) second partition app's private data files. Because file system (FAT16, FAT32) does UNIX file ownership cause a security breakdown 's private files.

When storage, Android unmounts FAT partition but partition remains mounted. Therefore linked applications affected be run without problems.
